I've overcome my trauma!!!

I'm glad that I've overcome my 12 years of trauma-swimming!
Hilda asked to tag along for a swim with PohWei.
Btw,it's Hilda's and my 1st time went to the stadium to swim.
How 'jakun' are we after staying here for 2 years!

I learned to float..Totally float but if someone talks to me then I'll sink..haha
PohWei said something which made me feel relax while swimming.
"Swimming is just like dancing."
Hilda and I don't really know to swim.Weird!

How did I get the trauma?

Thanks to my handsome Eurasian cousin.
Couz Jon was the one who caused me to have the bad trauma when I was 10-year-old during his holiday in M'sia.
He pulled my leg in the kids' pool and I was drowning.
Suddenly I felt that fear had conquered my life in swimming.

Finally I've the courage to swim in the pool.Of course not the kids' pool!
And I'm gonna meet Jon in June after 12 years!!!
This time will be drinking!!!!

For the 1st time ever in my teenage hood,I wore RED on the 1st day of the Chinese Tiger Year.

It was a funny and blur morning for me.I thought the lion dance that we called has reached .It was 10 in the morning and I was still in my pj.
Thank God,it's our neighbor!
I didn't wana 'welcome' the lion dance in my pj and my messy bad hair-day..haha

This Tiger Year without dad, therefore, it was kinda quiet on the 1st day.
If dad was around, my house would be like party for the 1st day. LOL!

What am I up to?

I think I still have few posts about my Chinese new Year that need to be done.
Btw,I shall update about my life recently after back to KK,Sabah.

I'm glad to say that my course dinner went smoothly tonight.
And also, I'm relieved that I've done my best in the ballroom dance and the modern dance,I was nervous to shit!!!
We only had a week to learn and practice the dances and that's my best achievement for dances so far.
I never thought that I could do it in 1 week!!! *salute*
For this dinner,I've spent the less as i didn't buy new dress for it and just only spent on doing my hair.
I thought twice that I have so many dresses and I only wore all of them once...I shouldn't waste more money to buy a new one and let the old ones get rusty in my wardrobe. :)
Wise choice!
Oh ya , Hilda and I got to the dinner at 8 pm which it started at 7pm..haha....
We went to do our hair at 7.30 pm ...cool sial!!!!

Good news!
The inter-school basketball competition in my uni was awesome but also awful!
Our School of Business and Economics won today.1 more competition to go!
The awful part was the stupid attitude from the 'enemy'.They don't know to play basketball at all as they're only good in netball!!!!!

Friend requested me to update more about my coming Manila trip more but I promise I'll do it once we've done all the procedures!!!!
Can't wait for it!!!!

I messed up my Spanish quiz...Gosh! For the 1st time ever!!!
Mid-term on Wednesday and I have to do well in it!!!!
Decided to take Duele(Diploma in Spanish) to learn more and see how far can I go in Spanish.

I miss mummy so much especially home cook and spend time with her.
And also baby Josh,
and also arguing with my sis especially me being bossy and yell at her!!!!

New Year Eve with Family

Chinese New Year eve has always been the same for me and my family.

But this year is a lil' bit different as dad couldn't make it for this Chinese New Year due to his job in overseas.He was back a week before CNY but I couldn't get to meet him.
Therefore,we had a quiet CNY.

We went to the temple on the Chinese New Year eve morning to pray my ancestors.Mum's job is to cook big fest for them!
And that's the time we get to have 'GOOD' food...haha......

As usual, we the 'kids' would make noise to leave early as we're always bored to death.
Fyi,it's not that we don't respect our ancestor but I always wonder do my ancestors really 'eat' the food that we bring every year?
As what I did read from my history book in high school, it's just a symbol and in long long time ago,the people sacrificed the real people to pray their ancestors!!!

After the prayer, we had our reunion dinner at my cousin's house.
We 'lou sang' this time........

'yee sang' from yee yang sang..........it's nice! I love the design of the packing.
It represented the symbol of a family :)

My cousin always takes her puppy as a toy as it always changes its hair colour every CNY.
More 'updated' than a human being...

Baby Josh entertained me with his lil' lion dance session on new year eve night.
He loves to do it during Chinese New Year and would write a lucky number to ask my mum bought it.
He's a lucky baby as he 'granted' mum and her friends with his lucky number in striking a lottery!

Cha Cha y Espanol

Ola!

Spanish title for this post as everything that I'm gonna blog is all about Espanol!

Attended my first Cha Cha lesson under my Spanish class as
WE'RE READY TO ROCK MANILA!!!
Proposal is approved!

Wanted to join the Cha Cha class for fun but I was so damn hype in the class!
Superb FUN!!!!!

We thought our teacher is a lady but it turned out to be a guy!
He really has the body as a professional dancer.
The warming up session was so damn funny and the way the teacher shouted the steps were more to dirty ways......lol..........
I was like :"WTH?!"
I HIGHLY recommend whoever wana improve their 'on the bed' skill to take up a Cha Cha lesson especially the warming up part.

When the dance lesson started, it was superb fun as we were dancing together with the lecturers!
I was kinda familiar with some steps as I used to dance in the club.
Especially when the cool DJ played some latin music!!! :)

I think I did lose some weight though..haha..good exercise!

Oh ya, wanted to try on taking the advanced Spanish examination for this sem.
FYI,we learn 'ABC' type of Spanish though.
Borrowed 2 Walt Disney story books in Spanish to polish up my skill.
FML!


I've got the Snow white & 7 Dwarfs and Alice in Wonderland

We're gonna learn Salsa after this!!!!
Can't wait for Manila trip!!!! Gonna save my money and 'PROHIBIT' myself to go shopping!!!!

p/s:Sis got her STPM result and I'm glad that she could did it well in Science field.
